Custom taxonomy with custom post type archive page 404 - Meta Box

Hello
I created a custom post type and assigned a custom taxonomy to it. Now I would like to have a archive page for these taxonomies but when I'm trying to access the archive pages there is only the 404-template showing up.

solved

The rewrite slug of the custom taxonomy was somewhere competing with the corresponding custom post type slug. Afterwards I added a normal loop to the archives.php template. That made the trick.
