Ok I tested not on a localhost but on a real site
- noticed that there is a "license" page of Metabox which is not normally visible -> why?
- I tried to programatically add the License key asseen in the support forums which did not really work
The solution was to enable "the real wp plugin installation process" in order to get to the License page.
