I posted a workaround, but this is NOT a resolution. There is still a bug in the export code for groups with WYSIWYG elements. Please re-open this issue.
Actually, I've found a simpler workaround for this bug. I now search the exported file for \x{0D} (that new line character) and replace it with a single space. This keeps the serialization character count intact.
