    Dear Ahn, I talked a lot with the WPML and it seems that there is a small bug to be solved by them.

    Sorry for the delay.
    I have everything set up, deactivate all plugins except metabox.io and WPML and unfortunately the problem persists.
    I go to WPML >> make the custom fields translatable and when I save the post again the metaboxes in the secondary language, their values are disappearing. The problem occurs only with the file and image upload fields.

    Dear @Ahn is there any news about that issue?
    I am asking because I have some clients sites that are not working correctly.
    I can re describe the issue to you.

    It seems that in a website with WPML and metabox io installed, when you save / update a post with some specific metabox types like image_advanced, file_advanced the primary language is ok however in the same post in the secondary languages that specific files disappear. However the other types of metaboxes like texts, wysiwyg are intact.

    No . I am saying the following:

    I have a custom field that is type "post". It is a select dropdown which is populated with all the posts of my blog. Each post has a number of custom fields assigned.

    I would like to know if it is possible when I change the selected values (to select different post title) to get the custom fields associated with that post in one another custom field.
