ParticipantHi
Thanks for the explanation, I think as all of the documentation is on one page for the register and edit profile it can get quite confusing to understand when implementing both forms at the same time.
I have now managed to sort the issue. Thanks!

Participantok thanks for the update

ParticipantHi also I just checked the links and I cannot use remote validation due to that I am using the block editor, I cannot switch to the classic editor due to my site being built on the block editor.
Note: validation remote does not work with Block Editor, please use the Classic Editor to use the custom validation. So my problem above is still an issue as the whole form disappears

ParticipantHi
ok for the remote validation that is fine.
But for the first query in regards to the whole form disappearing after form submission. Why is this? surely the form should remain there?

Participantafter looking at the documentation, the 'user_email' field also does not work in that it does not reposition the form field? it adds an email field e.g. below to the form, but the existing email field is still visible and located at the top of the form.
https://docs.metabox.io/extensions/mb-user-profile/#edit-default-fields
'fields' => [ [ 'type' => 'email', 'name' => 'Email', 'id' => 'user_email', 'class' => 'dc-user-email', ] ]Nicholas Cox
Participantok thanks!

ParticipantHi Long,
I am note sure how to go about this using the topic link provided to work with Metabox.
Just thinking about the 'required' field setting in Metabox. Surely if we specify a hidden field to be 'required' then the jQuery validation could honour it?
array( 'id' => 'field_id', 'type' => 'hidden', 'required' => true, )Sorry if I'm missing the point but to ignore all hidden fields surely it will not be great for development purposes?
Thanks

Participantok thanks for the detailed explanation. I have had a test and it works great!

Participantforgot to mention that the 'product' is basically a form which just confirms the item quantity and asks a customer for their personal information.
Nicholas Cox
Participantok that's great, thanks for the explanation.

Participantah ok, yeah I realise that it would not be an easy thing to update, but just curious as you were talking about the topic of vanilla JS.
