ParticipantHi
Yes i have tried a new installation with the lowercase 'product' post type as the same issue persists. When i manually clear the permalink cache it works, if i dont i see a 404 page if i try to visit the custom post type single page. I found a old post https://support.metabox.io/topic/permalink-issue-with-custom-post-type/ which said that using
/%postname%/permalink structure had issues (which is what im using) but is not clear on what the solution was at the time. If I use the 'plain' permalink wordpress structure there is no problem when replicating the above.any ideas? As the problem seems very intermittent and i have tried over 10 times and only one of those times of replicating that the
/%postname%/permalink structure worked without manually refreshing permalinks.thanks

ParticipantHi
I thought I had answered them.
How do you process the form data after submitting it?
I dont do any custom processing, the form works with the default wordpress registration process.
What happens if you switch to the type password of Meta Box?
The same issue persists.
thanks

Participantyes with cloneable group you can see from the screenshot that i do not see the text 'remove' and also the clone button is active (no icon) but you can still hover over it and click it. I was originally not aware when posting this query that the icon was hidden for cloned groups.
So to confirm i dont have either the icon or 'remove' text?
thanks

ParticipantHi, yes i am aware that I need a
add_filter, but when i callapply_filtersit doesnt affect the output when i pass in the parameter of 'test'. When i error_log this test in PHP i can see that the 'test' string is being called after metabox has ran.March 25, 2024 at 5:39 PM in reply to: calling metabox filters inside render_template php file #44995Nicholas Cox
ParticipantYes but i am asking as i have a use case where if i was able to call a filter inside this file to use a block setting to define a filter parameter to affect the filter output.

ParticipantHi
The form still works with the wordpress user registration and the custom field still has the id 'user_pass'. So not sure what else is required to perform the check if the password field is left empty? when its required.

Participantyes i understand but you can see from my screenshot https://imgur.com/YxSg8VV that there is a remove clone icon button (it works when i click on it) there is just no icon image being loaded? or are you saying this is deliberately been hidden as its a group clone? but what happens when i specify no title (as per the screenshot) then what happens to the label?

ParticipantHi
Yes i am able to submit the form without filling in the required password field. I assumed that the form would fail, but instead i see the PHP error messages. How is this possible? as i have even forced the form to fail and it does not work either.
