Thank you for the suggestion and it worked.
Issue was with Redux plugin - while active its API key was with higher priority than this into the metabox field. Deactivating the plugin solved the issue

It's very clear how metabox works, because it's very well documented.

So I've Deactivated WP Rest API, used WP_REST_Response and still can't retrieve those meta fields
