Meta Box

Coming back to this because I'm stuck again. No, it's not multisite, it's a brand new site with no other plugins installed.

Never mind, I found it.

Ok, it gets weirder. I don't think it's core, I removed meta-box/meta-box-group from my project and it resolved all problems.

Bleh, my response wasn't recorded. I think we need to start this thread again. All the code I posted above is from the exporter, which means the flaws are in the exporter as well.

Ok, I figured out how to render it, but I can still click the pencil and see nothing. Can I put in a placeholder there that says "You can't edit this block" ?
