    Hello Peter,

The support team in Bricks point that my CSS not showing on active page was maybe related to the menu (Appearance > Menu).

So, I found out that, in Bricks, if you build a Template (you give it a Template Type – Archive in my case), this template is accessible more or less everywhere, and also in Appearance > Menu as a classic page – but it acts differently as a normal page.

So, for people who have the same issue…
I did delete the Countries page selected from the menu, and I added a Custom Link with the right URL and the name Countries.

Now my CSS on active page is showing!

Anyway, thanks for your time, Peter!

    Hello Peter,

    Just to make sure...
For my project, am I doing it the right way with Meta Box - I have a doubt?

1 Creating a Post Type called Country (Meta Box | slug: countries | Hierarchical)

2 Creating a Field Group called Countries, with all fields that I need for each country (Meta Box | Location: Post type > Country (countries))
    - 2.1 and I added some categories (continents in this case)

3 Creating all countries post into my Countries Post Type… (France, Spain...)
    - 3.1 filled-up all fields into each country (e.g. France, Paris, French...)
    - 3.2 used in each country post the Gutenberg area to make for each country an article

As my Country Post Type (slug: countries) is hierarchical, Meta Box did create the page into my WordPress Pages, right?
(sorry, but I can't remember if I did create it myself)

So far, everything if working properly (beside of the menu), and that way I can see that my countries and hierarchical, and the breadcrumb is reacting properly.

Are these steps the way to proceed for my case with Meta Box, or I am doing it the wrong way?

    Thank you,
    Eric

Hello Peter, and thank you for your advice, that I will follow 🙂

My first thought was, it was an issue with Meta Box, but you know more that I do.

    Best Regards,
    Eric

    Hi Peter,

Yes, I took care of the IDs, and that was easy because it's only the beginning of the project.
So far, I am glad that I thought of this way, because I had a lot of data (all countries), and plugins & tools for that were not 100% sure and pretty expensive (Excel → SQL).
Anyway, thanks for your expertise 🙂

    Thank you Peter!

The function proposed seems interesting (link) - I will try it!
However, the User Post Limit plugin is working perfectly for what I need, so I will stick to that for now 😉

I left my solution in case someone else is looking for it too...

    Hi There,

I have found a way to solve my problem..., with a plugin!
    User Post Limit

But, if there is an option inside Meta Box to do what I need, I'm still interested 🙂

Hello Peter, and thank you for your time and your positive alternative!

Meta Box is like Excel... Many of us are using 5% of the options 🙂

Anyway, your solution did work very well.
I just had to change a few things into my CSS files, to get back my design on the form.
Indeed, I could keep IDs in the CSS, because the 2 IDs in a short code | #id-1, #id-2 doesn't work.
(well, maybe there is a way, but I'm not aware of it lol)

For people who are facing the same issue...
As the validation Checkbox was just for making people confirm them data (legal), I only ask a "Required" option, and I did switch-off the "Save field value" in the Advanced tab (because I have forms' data all clean in a "Save data in a custom table").

    Hello Peter,

It sounds like there isn't an "easy" way to implement my idea 🙁
I will search for an expert developer in JavaScript, with knowledge of WordPress, Oxygen and Meta Box.

    Thank you,
    Eric

    Hello Peter,

I finally found a way to add automatically MP Color Picker into Oxygen Template!

I watched again this video from LocalSBM (link), and I used the principles of the shared PHP code (link) - to make variables in a PHP snippet.

It works, but I'm sure there is another way, more "professional", but all shared links/codes did not work for me.

Anyway, thank you for your time 🙂

    Thank you, Peter,

But I have tried this code already, and, whatever I do, it isn't working for what I want to do.
With your code, I get only a little circle (if no text), or a text color background only if I add some text in the PHP (<div><h>...</h><p>...</p></div>).

In my case, I dont want to add a text to get a background color, just want to get the MB Color to give a background color to an existing DIV, in my Oxygen template (this DIV has other DIVs inside with texts and icons).

    Do you have another idea?

    Or maybe I am something?

    Thank you,
    Eric

    Hello Peter,

I will ask MB Frontend Submission team, or found a way 🙂

Do you have any idea how to use a color picker ID into Oxygen Builder (with conditions)?

I have tried a few things, but I can't get it to work as a DIV background color.

My case is the same as above...
Members can choose the background color them want in the form, so I like to automatically get the ID of the MB Color Picker to change it with the right color, for the right member.

The only thing that I have found (">link) is to make a Code Block into the Oxygen Builder, but I only get a little circle (20px) with the right color:
    <?php rwmb_the_value( 'My_ID' ) ?>

I would like to get the background color into a DIV from the MB color picker ID.

Have you ever had this request, or do you know the solution?

    Thank you,
    Eric

    Hello Peter,

Thank you so much for this clarification, because I had a look at this page, without a good focus!

Actually, I took it first the wrong way. I was trying to do the same thing, but with only the Post Type selected, and not with a normal Post.

Anyway, I did change some things and adapt others, to make it work.

Now, a member can fill up the long form with details he may need, to get automatically its own details online (hosted) - after approval (pending).

The member can manage and update is details directly from is Paid Membership Pro Dashboard, with also the help of a Meta Box shortcode... (link).

I did found the solution for members who when to upload images directly from the form, and so far it works (link).

Now I wonder how I can make this Meta Box form multilingual... lol
Do I have to simply duplicate the Meta Box form?

    Thank you,
    Eric
