Thank you for your video. I know it should work like that. But on my video you have seen it does not work, and this is a fresh and simple wp install with a default wp theme. I also tried your e-star theme which does not change anything.

I think you should be interested to check why this is not working and maybe finding a bug. Maybe this is then the same bug which causes the 'all fields lost' from my other ticket.

(you also have access to my install from this other ticket and I also sent you the corrensponding field group via email).

I'm also wondering why the ajax is not working (and why the inline checkboxes are styled so ugly with no space to the label). It does not make fun to use the builder like this right now.

This problem happens again over and over, now without changing anything on the id or the group name.

I need to export all my field groups all the time because I never know when they are gone disappear.

I Increased the max-input-vars already to 5000 and still it happens.

I can't work with this insecurity. Tell me what you need to investigate this bug. It's a local installation, so you can't access it. But I can make you a backup with AIO Migration or whatever you need.

Hello, I exported the field groups and cloned the installation freshly and then reimported the fields and for now it works fine again. I don't know the reason, because the other installation was also pretty fresh. ...Since working locally I experience more problems in general with local wp..

I'll send you the export of the field group by email.
This group contained only html fields.

Shorty I had the same issue on a fresh wp install where I created a field group for a setting page with around 15 fields. Then all of a sudden they where gone. Can't remember if I was changing the name of the group but it's likely I did. All of the fields had NO ENTRIES, and slowly slowy I think this problem occurs more likely when there is no data or just html fields..

I'll let you know if the problem occurs again in future.
