    Is it possible to separate a form into tabs/sections on a front end form? e.g. step 1-4 (my details, billing, shipping payment)

    It is possible. You can use the extension MB Tabs to create tabs for the custom fields to show on the frontend.

    if it is then is it possible to validate each tab before allowing the user to progress to the next step/tab?

    No, the MB Tabs extension does not support a button to jump to the next step/tab. You can create your own JS code to do that.

    Hi,

    I see the issue. You need to register the field artiste_image before the field file_upload_ok to show the admin column after the field artiste_image.

    Hi,

    You are right, the option value should be included only numbers, letters, and underscores (and rarely dashes). Some special characters will not be processed and saved.

    We are still using jQuery code in some extensions and in the Meta Box plugin to use the jQuery extensions like date picker.     Hi,

    I have had an experience with a similar issue before, the way to resolve it is to create a new field group and assign the post type. Can you please confirm that works?

    It could be. You can try to save some fields to the custom table, if it works, you can follow this article to increase the PHP setting max_input_vars to resolve this issue.

    Thanks for getting in touch.

    MB Custom Post Type extension just helps users to create a new CPT visually instead of using the WordPress function register_post_type(). It does not do anything outside from the WP documentation.

    Following the support discussion from Anh Tran with you via Facebook chat, I think the issue comes from the single page and archive post type page when they have the same slug. It relates to how did you set up the page and post type, not coming from the extension itself. You can also deactivate Meta Box plugins and register the post type by using the code and re-check the issue.
