According to JC's post, it seems that this problem occurs when the "Save Field" option is disabled.
Is this an unintended condition where the option is disabled due to a bug in the update?I manage a very large number of websites and this issue is relevant to almost all of them.
If possible, I would like to fix the "Save Field" option back to its original state so that the site can be updated properly.
I can also share the problematic sites for the benefit of developers.

The site was broken in 5.7.1, and after updating to Metabox 5.7.2, I created a new post, but when I click the "Save Draft" button, all entry fields are cleared, values in Metabox fields cannot be saved.
Is there any way to recover?We have updated MB Builder, MB Settings Page at the same time, which was updated after 2023-05-25.

After updating the issue, I am unable to save the field in a new submission. The value attribute is not present in all input fields.I rolled back to 5.8.18 after the problem occurred, but the same problem still occurs with new submissions and all fields cannot be saved.

Group fields are displayed as arrays. Multibyte text values are displayed in Unicode.

The topic seems to be outdated information. I will read and refer to it.The WordPress editor and the text field in metabox are fine and display the correct text.
Group fields are displayed with an array of field names and the values are converted to Unicode.

Thanks for letting us know about the recommended plugins.
I was just trying this plugin as well.
It's a nice and easy plugin, but I couldn't export the serial data of the MB User Profile, and there are no filter hooks, so I can't customize based on this.User lists are a much-requested feature, and I think MB User Profile would be a powerful tool if it had the ability to easily export lists filtered by date and role.

It's still just adding a class to the wrapper.
I am using a library to auto-fill the zip code.
I needed a class for input, so it would have been nice to be able to set it up easily.
This time, I will add the class to input in Javascript.

Thanks for the quick confirmation.
I had to use subfields in order to achieve the designed layout.
By all means, please make it work with subfields!In this case, we will use before and after to adjust the layout, or use Javascript to assign the value of the subfield to hidden name="first_name".
