    Hi Steve,

    There is a problem with the metabox builder. I am also having trouble saving on many sites.

    If the "Save field value" is turned off in the Advanced section of each field, it will not save.

    This field was added suddenly in a recent version, and many fields that have existed for a long time have it turned off. Please be aware of this.
    * Support said that it is ON by default if you create a new file with the latest version.

    We believe it is safer to set this in PHP instead of using the builder if there are many fields to support, since there could be problems related to saving with each version upgrade due to React support, etc.

    Hi,

    I have been able to recover many sites with the latest version of Metabox.
    It's works fine now.
    I set max_input_vars to 500k.

    Dear Support Team,

    According to JC's post, it seems that this problem occurs when the "Save Field" option is disabled.
    Is this an unintended condition where the option is disabled due to a bug in the update?

    I manage a very large number of websites and this issue is relevant to almost all of them.

    If possible, I would like to fix the "Save Field" option back to its original state so that the site can be updated properly.

    I can also share the problematic sites for the benefit of developers.

    Hi,

    The site was broken in 5.7.1, and after updating to Metabox 5.7.2, I created a new post, but when I click the "Save Draft" button, all entry fields are cleared, values in Metabox fields cannot be saved.
    Is there any way to recover?

    We have updated MB Builder, MB Settings Page at the same time, which was updated after 2023-05-25.

    Thank you all for the information.
    After updating the issue, I am unable to save the field in a new submission. The value attribute is not present in all input fields.

    I rolled back to 5.8.18 after the problem occurred, but the same problem still occurs with new submissions and all fields cannot be saved.

    I am also having the same problem.
    Newly entered text or text added by editing is not saved, it is cleared after clicking the save button, and errors occur in the required validations.

    Hi Peter,

    I have checked your screenshot.
    I have no problem with normal text fields on my site as well as yours.
    Please try to create Text field in Group filed on your site.

    I have uploaded a screen capture to the link below. It is valid for one week.
    Group fields are displayed as arrays. Multibyte text values are displayed in Unicode.

    I have previously reported a very similar problem. In the following link, the Metabox builder was displaying multibyte text in Unicode. The developer has fixed it and I'm happy.

    Hi there,

    Thanks for the advice, peter.
    The topic seems to be outdated information. I will read and refer to it.

    The WordPress editor and the text field in metabox are fine and display the correct text.
    Group fields are displayed with an array of field names and the values are converted to Unicode.
    It would be nice if this could be displayed with the field name and original text, but if it is a challenge, I would like to at least have the unicode conversion of the values decoded.

    Hi Long,

    Thanks for letting us know about the recommended plugins.
    I was just trying this plugin as well.
    It's a nice and easy plugin, but I couldn't export the serial data of the MB User Profile, and there are no filter hooks, so I can't customize based on this.

    User lists are a much-requested feature, and I think MB User Profile would be a powerful tool if it had the ability to easily export lists filtered by date and role.

    Hi Long,

    It's still just adding a class to the wrapper.
    I am using a library to auto-fill the zip code.
    I needed a class for input, so it would have been nice to be able to set it up easily.
    This time, I will add the class to input in Javascript.

    I was able to set it up successfully.
    There is no description in 'Shortcode attributes' of 'mb_user_profile_info' in the manual, so I'm glad you checked it.
