Adding code for settings pages doesn't work with MB Settings Page on

I try to learn adding code manually for the settings pages. When I do GET CODE PHP on a settings page and change / add the code to functions php then nothing happens.
When I turn off the MB Settings page off in the extensions then it works.

I found this strange: adding Custom Fields in both situations with Meta Box Builder on works.
