    Hi -

    I know that MB isn't really a general-purpose form builder, but since MB doesn't work well with Gravity Forms (beyond default user fields), I'm wondering if anyone has an idea about how to create a new Signature field type for MB forms?

    Hi,

    Thanks for your feedback.

    Meta Box does not support a Signature field type. I will inform the development team to consider adding it to the to-do list for future development of the plugin.

    Another way, you can offer the users to upload their signature file or image when submitting the form.

    Hi Long -

    thanks for the reply. I found this on Codepen - https://codepen.io/yguo/pen/OyYGxQ

    it uses HTML, JS, and a little CSS to create a signature field. I think its a good start to investigate a custom implementation, but it would definitely be better if either MB provided this as a dedicated field type.

    But I'm also exploring making my own custom MG field type.

    jupitercow (https://bitbucket.org/jupitercow/acf-signature-field/src/master/) creates a signature field for ACF using https://github.com/szimek/signature_pad.
    Is it possible to use signature_pad with a metabox field?

    Hi Long,
    Any update on this? I also use GF for any form that requires a signature, but would love to be able to use MB for them. A MB signature field would be very useful.
