... and Mass Edit does not.

    Hi there,
I've got a custom post type called "jobs" where users can publish Jobs over the frontend as draft and an admin needs set them to publish.

If an admin sets the post to publish over quick edit, somehow the post ownership / Author gets changed from the "job publisher" to the admin.
If the mass editor is used, the ownership stays the same.

I suspect that might me a Meta Box bug. Can you please confirm this and checkt it out?

    Hello,

I do not see that issue on my demo site. You can go to Meta Box > Post Types > Edit the CPT > Support tab > Enable "Author" option.

Then when clicking on Quick Edit, make sure the correct author is selected and Publish it. Screenshot https://imgur.com/dYxiPb1

    Hi,

The "Author" Option is already enabled:

but on quick edit no Author Dropdown is visible like your example picture:

    What else can we do?

    Hello,

Please try to deactivate all plugins except Meta Box, MB extension plugins and switch to a standard theme of WordPress then check this issue again.
