I created a form with file_upload fields with a maximum limit of 2 files, but even if I upload just one file, it requires 2 files to be uploaded mandatorily. I also tried lowering the limit to 1 file, but it still asks for 2 files. Lastly, I tested with no minimum file requirement, and it still asks for 2 files. Could this be a bug?
Do you have any other settings that set the requirement for the file_upload field? A custom code or a custom field setting.
I just use a simple file_upload field without any specific settings and don't see that issue.

When I set the mandatory fields with a maximum of 2 files, the system asks me for 2 files. I also tried removing the maximum file limit, but it continues to ask for 2 files.
I cannot reproduce the issue on my demo site. If you set required setting for the file_upload field, it only asks you to upload at least 1 file to save the post.
