    Hi,

    I am using the following plugins: Meta Box, Meta Box AIO, MB Relationships, and MB Frontend Submission.

    A customer recently reported an issue where cloned group fields cannot be saved properly. The problem occurs when the first group row is hidden but contains a saved value - this value gets lost when the post is saved.

    After reviewing the changelog, it appears this behavior was introduced in version 5.10 when the cloning feature was updated.

    Both WordPress and all MetaBox plugins are running the latest versions.

    I would appreciate your assistance in resolving this matter.

    Hello Fabian,

    Thanks for reaching out.

    If you are using the latest version of Meta Box AIO 2.2.2, you can deactivate all other Meta Box plugins, including Meta Box.

    Can you please share the screenshot of the state first group row is hidden but contains a saved value? Also, please export the field group to a JSON file, share it with me and steps to reproduce the issue. I will check this on my demo site.

    Hi Peter,

    I found the issue! It appears WordPress incorrectly showed my plugins as up-to-date. Even after force-checking it multiple times. But I actually had Meta Box AIO version 1.27.1 installed. After manually updating the plugin (to 2.2.2) by overwriting the files, everything is now working correctly. The cloneable group rows are displaying properly in the backend and persist after saving.
