hide/show specific fields - Meta Box

I'm confused - does the meta-box-show-hide only hide or show ALL the fields.

I wanted to apply hide/show rules to individual fields so that the user is presented with different fields based on other (meta-box) inputs.

Is this done some other way that I'm not seeing? Do I have to set up separate meta-boxes for each group? Won't that impinge on how I do the edit screen layout?

any advice is appreciated.

Hi,

The Show Hide extension does the show/hide job for meta boxes. It doesn't work for individual fields.

If you want to control the visibility of individual fields, you should use the Conditional Logic. It's more powerful then Show Hide extension.
