ParticipantHi, I've literally just started using metabox (I came to you via the Beaver Builder FB page) and I'm struggling at the first hurdle. What I want to do is set up something that will display like this
Year: 2011
Berths: 3
Fixed beds: Yes
I've set up the metaboxes no problem, but they are displaying horizontally and I want to display them in 1 column (I'll be connecting them to display in tabs using Beaver Themer)
I've tried following this https://docs.metabox.io/create-columns-in-meta-box-builder/ but it's not working so I'm obviously doing something wrong
Thanks
PS I've used text lists and I'm wondering if a different field is better suited for this layout instead?May 29, 2018 at 2:00 PM #9842Anh Tran
KeymasterHi,
As you're using
text_list, they'll display in a row like this:https://imgur.elightup.com/xipaodj.png
All you need to do is using simple text fields for them. Please create 3 text fields for year, berths and fixed beds. And you'll get them in a column.

ParticipantHi, thanks for the reply. Is there a more efficient way to do this please? There are 15 items in each list which means that I need to use 45 individual text fields and then add each field individually when I set up the single post layout in Themer. It seems like a long winded way to go about it. Thanks

ParticipantAlso the name of the text field isn't being output at the frontend - just the data that's been added in the CPT. It would be good to be able to attach a screenshot. Thanks

KeymasterHi,
I'm making some improvement to the
text_listfield, regarding your suggestion :). What do you think about this layout?https://imgur.elightup.com/d4qxPLa.png
Or do you prefer everything in 1 column, like this?

PS: To upload screenshot, please upload it to a service https://imgur.com and paste the link here.

ParticipantWow Anh I'm super impressed by the way that you responded to this. I ended up taking a different route as I just needed to get it done yesterday but thank you. I'm sure I'll need this on another project soon. Thanks, Diane
