How to retrieve an existing Custom Post Type in Metabox

We inherited a website created by a third party. They set up Custom Post Types and Taxonomies using Metabox. When I open Post Types or Taxonomies the list is empty. Although there are post types and taxonomies. Is there a way to import them. I cannot get them from the original developer.
