    BACKGROUND

Meta Box - Elementor Integrator plugin is installed, along with MetaBox core, MB Custom Table, MB Group, MB Include Exclude, and a couple more MB plugins. Site also includes Elementor, Elementor Pro, and Ultimate Addons for Elementor.

Theme is Astra, and Astra Pro plugin is also installed.

I have a long list of MB fields of various types (most are text, textarea, single_image, select, video, or wysiwyg).

All fields are associated with Page pages, and limited to specific pages with the "MB Include Exclude" plugin (targeting pages by Post ID).

All designs are implemented in Elementor Theme Builder, rather than individual pages. In every case, a page is selected in the Theme Builder's Preview Settings that is also covered by the Elementor Display Conditions, and there are no conflicting or overlapping display conditions.

    PROBLEMS

In Elementor, opening Dynamic Tags > Meta Box Field does indeed list many fields, but:

    1. Not all fields are listed. All fields are indeed listed in the Admin and are saving data as expected, but some cannot be found in the Dynamic Tags > Meta Box Field list.
    2. In an effort to simplify and clarify naming of fields (largely in connection with trying to resolve the above problem), several fields have been renamed (only the name has been changed, not the id). However, even after renaming these field names, the original/old field names are still appearing in the Dynamic Tags > Meta Box Field listing.

    ATTEMPTED

    1. Accessing fields via Dynamic Tags > Meta Box Field.
    2. Accessing fields via Dynamic Tags > Post Custom Field, with Meta Box - Elementor Integrator activated.
    3. Accessing fields via Dynamic Tags > Post Custom Field, without Meta Box - Elementor Integrator plugin (plugin deactivated).
    4. Clearing all caches (repeatedly).

    QUESTIONS

    1. Are there limits to the number of MB fields that can be recognized by Elementor Dynamic Tags?
    2. Are there naming conventions that should be followed (or patterns to be avoided)?
    3. Could the MB Include Exclude plugin be causing issues when designing with Elementor's Theme Builder instead of designing pages on a page-by-page basis
    4. Are fields listed in the Dynamic Tags > Meta Box Field list expected to show correctly when editing a Theme Builder template as long as the preview for that template is set to a page that matches Elementor's Display Conditions rules?
    5. Is there some sort of cache to flush somewhere to make old field names disappear from the Dynamic Tags > Meta Box Field list?

At this point, regarding the missing fields problem, I'm especially concerned about Questions 3 & 4. I wonder whether the Meta Box - Elementor Integrator plugin simply isn't seeing all fields correctly because I'm designing in the Theme Builder instead of an individual page.

    Hello,

I don't see a limitation to display custom fields in Elementor dynamic tag. Please export your field group to a JSON file and share it here, I will import it to my demo site and check this issue. Also, please share some screenshots of the issue on your end.

Read more in the documentation https://docs.metabox.io/extensions/meta-box-builder/#export--import

Is there a way to share JSON and images privately? The client will not appreciate public displays of this sort (yes, we have several clients like that).

I'd be happy, when done, to share conclusions here for anyone that might come to this thread with similar issues.
