    We have custom post type created, it seems to be working correctly as we see it in the admin menu and are able to add posts to it. A beaver themer layout has been assigned to it. When we open the BB themer layout and try to connect a metabox field there are not fields there

    Nevermind, we figured it out. We didn't have any custom fields on the post type - so naturally there was nothing there to select in the themer connection field
