    Here's a video demonstrating the issue. Link to video.

    Here's what I tried:
    1. Deactivate all other plugins
    2. Switch to 2025 theme
    3. Change the block field type to text (this solved the issue).

    In all the troubleshooting, with certainty I can say it's related to the block field type and not related to a specific theme or other plugin.

    I couldn't see a way to edit my original post but wanted to clarify that steps 1 (deactivate all other plugins) and 2 (switch to 2025 theme) did not resolve the issue.

    The only way to resolve the issue was to change the block field type to text or textarea.

    Hello,

    Thank you for your feedback.

    I can reproduce the issue on my site. The FSE doesn't work when using a Block editor field. I've escalated this issue to the development team to fix it as soon as possible.

    How important of an issue is this?

    If it won't be resolved within a week, I'm going to need to change my block field types to textarea so that I can access the full site editor.

    Hello,

    This issue has been fixed in the commit https://github.com/wpmetabox/meta-box/commit/902a4990fb960b7621f540e28905fa00f0b3d798

    you can try to apply it to your site while waiting for the next update of the Meta Box plugin.

    Thank you Peter! I'm not sure how to do that but I'll just wait for the released version.
