    Hello,

    is there a way to sort taxonomies in the side-block?
    And how to order custom post types individually and not per release-date?

    Do you mean to sort the selected taxonomies? There is no option to sort them.

    Do you use the post field or order the post in the frontend?

    Please let me know more details of your questions.

    Hi Peter,

    thanks for your reply. I'd like to order the cpts manually in the backend and show this order in the frontend. It should be easy and not to complicated, because the client should do this in the future. The order of the individual cpts can change monthly: they are dishes of a restaurant.

    I created taxonomies for starters, soups, and so on and like to define a custom order of the related dishes, so that the client can add dishes and change the order of it easily.

    Do you know what i mean?

    Hello,

    Meta Box does not support ordering CPT and terms like that. You can use a third-party plugin to order CPT and terms manually:
