    Hi Guys,

    I'm using Metabox Group with Custom Fields to display resources on a page. However, I've noticed that the page loads very slowly in the backend when opening. This issue began as more entries were added. I disabled all unnecessary Metabox extensions and plugins to no effect.

    Do you think saving the entries to a custom database could significantly improve the loading speed in the backend?

    Hello Dragan,

    If you have too many subfields when editing a page, it could slow down a bit to load the field settings. Using the custom table can help you to improve the loading time. You can try to use that feature.

    After that, if you still see the page loads very slow, please try to deactivate all plugins except Meta Box, MB extension plugins, switch to a WordPress theme and observe the loading time again.
