    Trying to alter some custom fields and when I try to save the fields I get an error saying "Please match the format requested" on a section I haven't altered at all - checkbox filed I belive.

    Any idea how I solve this as I have to make major ganges to this complex set of fields for a frontend submission form.

    have checked the console and I se this error:

    An invalid form control with name='fields[group_jw3su7wus4j][fields][radio_3gfaa8shuk][id]' is not focusable.

    it seems to be the one giving the error on the page

    Hello,

    Can you check the radio subfield ID? It should have the format: Use only numbers, letters, and underscores (and rarely dashes). Following the documentation https://docs.metabox.io/field-settings/

    If it still doesn't work, please share some screenshots of the field settings in the builder. I will help you check the issue with the field.

    Actually - just figured it out - but have q question - this is an old form and I have had to alter some of the field names - will that affect the old posts that have already been filled out?

    Hello,

    You can update the field label. But please be careful when updating the field ID, the value will disappear when editing the old posts.
