I have a custom post type (created with Metabox) with a number of custom fields. I set these fields to show at the bottom of the page rather than in the side panel of the post editor. Until now, they functioned correctly. Now, however, they are appearing in the side panel of the editor. This is not a huge problem except for a wysiwyg field that does not display correctly in the side panel. I can't think of anything I have done that would have affected this.
Troubleshooting I have done: (1) Double-checked the display setting in Metabox custom field group editor. (2) Clicked on the 3 dots at the top of the add/edit screen next to the Kadence Block Controls icon and checked the Preferences > Panels section (see Kadence attachment). There I toggled on Custom Fields, but it only showed native WordPress custom fields and not those that I had created via Metabox. (3) Contacted Kadence support; their reply: "Generally, Kadence theme does not have control on how Metabox custom fields show in the editor."
Wordaround I tried for the wysiwyg field: Tried clicking on the full-screen icon, but the left-hand side of the text was not visible.
