qTranslate X plugin seems to be abandoned from its author for the last 3 years. I personally don't think it's a good option for a multilingual website. Unfortunately, we don't have an option to make Meta Box work with qTranslate X yet.

would it be possible just to add option to pass strings thru __() or _e().
Editing text, textarea for diffferent languate is possible now by adding class or id of input element to qtranslate settings. But it would be nice to have an option to display translated string in for example select2 dropdown. Thanks.
