    Hi,

    I set up a callback function to populate a radio field choices which has worked fine for the past 3 years. Now the callback is not populating the choices (choices are blank). Noting has been changed on this site in relation to this set-up.

    Things I've tried:

    - Updated plugins to latest versions
    - Switched on wp debug and checked debug log - no relating errors
    - Checked that callback function is available - it is.

    Hello Macky,

    Thanks for reaching out.

    Can you please put the callback function in the theme file functions.php, re-save the field group and see if it helps?

    Hey Peter,

    I have done as you ask and deactivated the script in Advanced Scripts, but the issue remains.

    EDIT - I didn't resave the field group before my last post. When I try to do so it acts as if one of the fields is required...

    Hello,

    Regarding the issue with the required field, it could be a Text field. Please try to delete this field and re-add it without the Required option.

    Hi Peter,

    Regarding the text field - the screenshot is from the metabox field group settings page. The field needs to be required when the post edit form is rendered, but NOT on the metabox field group edit screen.

    I will provide admin login so you can take a look. The metabox field group in question is wp-admin/post.php?post=9485&action=edit
