When I add a range slider in metabox with a maximum value of +4 and a minimum value of -2 and I set the default value to 0 metabox sets this to 1 when I open it in my post. How can I solve this?

The default value of the range field is 1, according to the documentation https://docs.metabox.io/fields/range/
I will inform the development team to fix the default value in the builder.
Is there any update on this?
I have a similar problem.
If I set the default range value to 0, it still gets 50 by default. I have set is manually.
I have a range from 0 to 100 and 0 would be the default value.
Thanks for the details. I can see the issue with the range subfield in a group field. It works properly when using it as a top field.
I'm going to escalate this issue to the development team to fix this soon.
