show/hide fields using shortcode - Meta Box

Hi

I found this post about show/hide fields, is it possible to show/hide fields and custom fields using the shortcode option? like you have for 'post_fields' where you can specify 'title, content, excerpt, date, and thumbnail.'

Hello Nick,

There isn't an option to hide (exclude) the field in the frontend by using the shortcode attributes like that. If you want to hide a field in the frontend, please enable the option "Hide from front end" in the builder https://docs.metabox.io/extensions/mb-frontend-submission/#hiding-a-field

ok thanks, i guess that might be the case but as you have the functionality for post data i thought it would extend to other field types.
