    Hi,

    I have a custom taxonomy assigned to a custom post type and in the post custom fields I have a taxonomy select field (Not Taxonomy Advanced) to assign the category to the post, but it doesn't work. After saving the taxonomy is not assigned to the post and I have to assign it using the WordPress metabox.

    I have used this feature several times in the past and I never had any issue.

    Is it a bug of the new version?

    I have both installed, Metabox and Metabox AIO.

    Any clue?

    Hello Filippo,

    Do you add the taxonomy field to a group field as a subfield? Or save the field group to a custom table?
    Basically, the taxonomy field only works when you set it as a top field and do not save the field group to the custom table.
