    Hi,

    I have 7 custom post types.
    Each carries some custom fields, let's say 8-10 fields each.
    In case if I have 3 custom fields can be applied to 4 post types, another 2 custom fields applied to 3 post types.

    So, I can set custom fields for each post type. Or is it better to set some custom fields apply to multiple post types, which means 2 or 3 field groups can be applicable to one post type.

    Which way would be more efficient? I'm wondering which way would be the best approach.

    Hello,

    You can assign one field group to many post types but not the custom fields. If you want to show some custom fields on some post types editing page, please add them to a field group and assign the field group to those post types.
