    Hi, I had a custom field group with post type location keep on pointing to "Post". I keep on change to another post type and click save. Nothing was happen.

    2nd issue is, I no longer able to create new custom field. Is it any limit of number of Custom fields in custom field group?

    You can try to follow this tutorial to increase the PHP setting max_input_vars to fix the issue
