You are not allowed to edit this post error

I've set up the front end submission form in Bricks Builder. When I test the submission, I get the 'you are not allowed to edit this post' error.

I've tried both author and subscriber roles and neither works.

When I try to change the object ID to post, it automatically flags the same error on the back end of Bricks.

I've tried disabling/enabling ajax submission in the Metabox settings in the element. Neither work.
