I was creating a front end form to edit a specific field group attached to a CPT. This front end form would be used to update an existing post only. I needed to disable editing post title and content. So in the Bricks element, I removed them from the post fields.

Unfortunately, this broke the site. I am forced to have at least one of these post fields added in order to prevent my site front end from being broken.

    Hello John,

If you don't use the Bricks element, add the frontend shortcode to a page content, does it work without breaking the site?

    [mb_frontend_form id="field-group-id"]

Hello Peter, I added the shortcode. I the page is no longer disfigured. However, when trying to modify/add text to a field before saving does not result in it saving to the field group in the post when viewing it in the post editor.

This is the shortcode that I added to the CPT single post template: [mb_frontend_form id="accidents-cpt-editable"]

My intention is to set a Bricks condition to hide the MB front end form from logged out users. Do I need to do anything else to actually save the updates to the post?
