I've noticed this with both Custom Field Groups and Relationship meta boxes. When I set the initial context, everything seems to work fine. However, when I try to change the context (for example, from 'side' to 'after content'), the change doesn't update on the post edit screen.
I've only noticed this after the most recent update (did not notice it happening before).
Since WordPress new version supports re-ordering the meta box (drag, drop or using the arrow buttons) and saving the order to the user meta, the context will not work after you save the post at once. It will work the first time you create the relationship or field group.
Good to know, but how do we fix this? Do we need to delete something from the user meta? I've got some field groups that I'd like to display after the content, but it continues to appear on the side regardless of this setting. I cannot "drag" the meta box to the bottom of the screen.
