    I've created a new Custom Field Group with numerous custom fields. I now cannot add addtional fields, nor can I change the location to "User". It says it's saved the changes but it doesn't.

    Please advise.

    You can try to follow this tutorial to increase the PHP setting max_input_vars to fix the issue

    Increasing max_input_vars setting didnt work for me. I've ended up splitting the fields into numerous field groups, which then seems to work. It doesn't seem to like a large number of fields in the same field group.
