Hello - I have tried to use the metabox AIO option to check the checkbox by default, but this does not work. I have tried to use the switch and button group too - but can't make it work

I have also tried to add "checkbox" "checked" in custom settings, or "default" "1" - but I can't get it working.

Ideally I would rather use the switch and have it default "on" - what do i write in settings to make this work?

    Hi,

I do not see that issue on my end. Can you please share some screenshots and the code that create the custom fields on your site?

Hi Long - can't work out how to send screenshots in this chat, and so here is a loom: https://www.loom.com/share/ba1dd8f3f7f74c23ac377af4f201b9d7

The profile that is there is brand new, and so the box should be ticked:

    Hi,

It looks like there is an issue with the builder. Please try to deactivate all plugins except Meta Box, MB extensions and switch to the standard theme of WordPress then re-check this issue.

    Hi Long,

I changed the theme and deactivated all of my plugins except the ones needed to login and take me to the frontend form. This included elementor pro, meta box aio - and action packs. I use action pack to help me login. However, when I disabled this and used the WP login, and was taken to the backend user profile - it worked. So I am not sure if it is a conflict with the plugin, or a conflict when the user goes to the frontend form first, and it is not auto-populating..

How would I solve for both scenarios?

    Thank you!

    Hi,

It looks like the "action pack" login plugin has a function that prevents Meta Box and extensions work properly. I'm not sure in case of using this plugin. You can try to contact their support to ask for help with this issue.

Hi Long - I just tested this by creating an account and logging in using only meta box user profile (with actions pack disabled) and I experienced the exact same problem. So it is not action packs. Any other idea?

Please ignore me, I made a mistake when testing (had std=1 in the wrong place) Should be custom settings. Still does not work with actions pack. But the problem is with them. Thank you
