    When pasting test that was copied from a website into a Tinymce field, the text comes along with a lot of extra html tags, classes and inline styles.

    Is there a way to have it remove all that extra styling, and leave just the basics, like <p> <a>

    <ul> <li>

    <

    ol>
    tags?

    Hi,

    You can switch to the tab Text of the editor field to remove the HTML tags. Refer to this article https://www.wpbeginner.com/beginners-guide/how-to-copy-and-paste-into-wordpress/
