ParticipantHi there,
I've been testing the Meta Box plugin with Gutenberg and for the most part it seems to work. However I'm using the Conditional Logic extension to create an option that will only show when a certain Post Format is selected. But when I select the Post Format the options does not show up.
I'm using an older version of The Conditional Logic extension, so my question is, before I renew my purchase I would like to confirm that the above Gutenberg issue has been fixed in a newer version of the extension?
Looking forward to hear from you guys!
Cheers!August 8, 2018 at 3:34 PM #10922Anh Tran
KeymasterHello,
The Gutenberg plugin changes HTML markup and breaks the current code. We haven't updated the code for post format yet. Gutenberg can change the markup anytime until it's stable (merged into core). We'll keep working on that to make the conditional logic works.

templaterule when using Gutenberg.August 10, 2018 at 11:55 AM #10961Anh Tran
KeymasterHi DrecDroiD,
Gutenberg affects all plugins. In this case, both Conditional Logic and Show/Hide are affected.

ParticipantHi there
Is there already an update available for Show/Hide and Conditional Logic extensions for them to work with the Gutenberg plugin? Both are not working with the Gutenberg.
Thanks

KeymasterHi Vipinn, we're trying to fix this bug. We tried several times without success, because Gutenberg UI changes so fast. We'll check that again and update you soon.

KeymasterHey guys,
Sorry for long time. We've just updated Conditional Logic to 1.6.4, which now supports Gutenberg. It works for
post_formatandpage_templateand all rules internal for meta boxes / fields (such as show / hide a field based on another field). For some rules like checking by categories or custom taxonomies, there's a limitation from Gutenberg that can't be done at the moment. We'll work with Gutenberg team to find a solution and will update the plugin as soon as we can. -
