    Is it possible to create a custom post type that is a custom table?

    You can save the custom fields in a custom table, but i want to create a custom table as a CPT.

    Ok, but what about Custom post types (not custom fields)?

    Can it be done?

    I'm sorry... I do not see a way to remove my previous post! I did not understand the answer correctly when you wrote "save data to the custom table". My bad!
