    Hi, I have a custom post type for Articles. In the Metabox setup, Support Tab, the comment is unchecked. We do not want comments enabled.

    However, we are still receiving comments on this post type. How is this possible?

    How do I disable comments?

    There is no comment field on the front end of the articles.

    Hello,

    I'm not sure why you are still receiving comments even though the comment form is not available in the frontend. You can try to use a third-party plugin and see if it helps.
