ModeratorHello Lloyd,
Please try to deactivate all plugins except Meta Box, MB AIO and create the CPT again. Let me know how it goes.

ParticipantYeah this keeps happening to me as well after almost every update on multiple sites. I have tried resaving permalinks, deactivating all plugins and still the same. I always have to roll back metabox to get it to work for some reasoon.

ParticipantI'm also currently experiencing this issue and it is seemingly random as I was able to create a few CPTs but then they would randomly fail to save certain changes. I didn't keep a copy of the previous Metabox Plugin 1.30.4 which was a critical mistake. I would recommend MB keep an archive of the previous version in the Account Area at this rate.

ModeratorHello,
Please update Meta Box AIO plugin to the new version 1.30.5 and check this issue again. Let me know how it goes.

ParticipantHi, 1.30.5 *is* the problem. Please provide a link for 1.30.4 so I can return to a working version of the plugin.

ParticipantSame issue here. Please fix it.

Participant@Peter: The version of 1.30.4 you provided did not fix the issue for my existing installation. Custom Post Types still hang on publish and/or update. Assuming the data was permanently corrupted by 1.30.5 (the modifications the team made to how the database is written), I created a brand new instance of WordPress locally and installed Metabox Plugin from the plugin directory and the AIO version for 1.30.4 you provided in the link above.
The problem persists in the version 1.30.4 above that you linked.
I think there is something wrong with the version you provided above as it does not allow me to install a license for PRO on a completely fresh version of WordPress (only MB + MB AIO is installed).
Clicking "Extensions" takes me to a page:
License Warning
You have not set your Meta Box license key yet. Please enter your license key to continue.Clicking the "enter your license" link:
Sorry, you are not allowed to access this page.Any ideas on what's going on?

ParticipantI think I may have found the root cause of this issue.
The MB AIO saving issue only appears to happen in Safari Version 18.0.1 (20619.1.26.31.7).
Here are the console errors I'm getting in Safari on the ADD new custom post type page:
https://imgur.com/a/xrVyNrFIf I use Chrome, error are displayed on the ADD new customer post type page, but the CPTs Publish and Update (so far) without issue using 1.30.4 and above.
https://imgur.com/a/41UNz95I hope this helps someone else.

ParticipantKris thank you. Safari and Metabox CPT are (temporary ?) incompatible.
