    I've set default values for a radio field and a number field in my field group, but when creating a new post, the defaults aren't being selected/populated.

    Radio field setup:

    Field ID: week_type
    Type: Radio
    Options: flexi_week:Flexi Week, flexi_midweek:Flexi Midweek, etc.
    Default value: flexi_week

    Number field setup:

    Field ID: transfer_fee
    Type: Number
    Default value: 3150

    Both fields show the correct default values in the preview, but when I create a new post, the radio field has no option selected and the number field is empty.

    Is there additional configuration needed to make default values work on new posts, or is this a known issue?

    Thanks for reaching out.

    I'm not able to reproduce the issue on my demo site. The default value of the radio and number field displayed correctly when I create a new post. Can you please try again with another site or a clean site and see if it helps?
