    I'm using some taxonomies mostly for internal organization of content. I display the terms to users in some cases, but I don't want users to have access to the archive page for taxonomy. Is it possible to disable the archive page for a specific taxonomy?

    Nevermind, I found how to do it by checking off "Public queryable" in the Advanced options for that taxonomy.
