Hi Meta Box Team,
first of all, thank you for the great work on the Admin Columns integration – it’s very helpful.
I noticed the following limitation and would like to suggest an improvement for a future update:
Currently, when adding a Post field (relationship to another post) and enabling it as a searchable column in the Admin Columns integration, the search only works via Post ID.
If I type the post title (text) into the search field, no results are returned — even though the related post is correctly displayed in the column.
Current Behavior
Post field column is visible ✅
Column is marked as searchable ✅
Searching by related Post ID works ✅
Searching by related Post Title (text) does NOT work ❌
Suggested Improvement
It would be extremely useful if the Admin Columns search could also:
Search by the related post title
Return posts where the relationship field matches the entered text
Ideally support partial matching (LIKE query)
This would make filtering much more intuitive, especially for editors who don’t know Post IDs.
