    Hi,

    Unfortunately, it's not available. Because it's kind of impossible to know when to increase the field value: when a page is edited or when a new post is created (and so on).

    Sorry I am very new to Metabox and this is my first question.

    We need to generate "Stock Numbers", "Invoice Numbers" etc.

    You could create a condition as to when to increment. Options might be "Created", "Saved", "Updated" etc - let us choose which.

    How about that?

    Allow us to pre-post pend something from a select list: Select: a text string from a created dropdown or a generated value.

    How about if we created a codeblock in a snippit and the code was returned via a shortcode?

    Can we use a shortcode in a field?
