    I've created several field groups with custom fields in a custom post type. Now it makes more sense to move the fields from one field group to another existing field group. There are already many posts/content related to the fields in the website. I did not yet create custom tables.

    How can I achieve this (without breaking anything)?

    Hello,

    Currently there isn't an option to move a custom field between field groups. I will inform the development team to consider supporting this feature in future updates.

    This is a desirable feature. It may also be helpful to have a way to duplicate a field group (which would auto-append the ID with some standard prefix or suffix) that could then be tailored with different settings for use with a different CPT.

    Are you still working on this, or has it also stalled? You said you'd inform the development team about this, but that was over a year ago.
